Firm History

The law firm of Curtis & Curtis, P.C. was founded in 1901 by George H. Curtis, a former probate judge and the grandfather of Philip J. Curtis, the firm's current managing attorney. Since its founding by a sole practitioner, the firm has grown to a full service legal organization with three full-time attorneys, another serving as of counsel, and a legal support staff of three. For over 50 years, the firm has been located in downtown Jackson on the 15th floor of the historic Jackson County Tower Building.
