Jeffrey T. Landon is an attorney with Curtis, Curtis & Brelinski, P.C. Jeff joined our law firm in February 2021. Prior to joining the firm, Jeff worked for a Lansing law firm, Farhat & Story, P.C., from 2012 to 2021 and a North Dakota law firm, Lange & Donovan, PLLP, from 2010 to 2012.
Jeff assists individuals and businesses with a variety of legal issues, including the following areas of law: Bankruptcy, Business Law, Collections, Criminal, Divorce and Custody, Driver License Restoration, Estate Planning, Expungement, General Civil, Landlord-Tenant Law, Liquor Control, and Real Estate.
Jeff graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree, magna cum laude, from Eastern Michigan University in 2001, and obtained his MBA from EMU in 2006. Jeff later obtained his JD from Michigan State University College of Law, graduating magna cum laude, in 2010.
Prior to law school, Jeff worked for Ford Motor Company for approximately 13 years. While attending law school, he gained a wide range of experience in the Michigan Tax Tribunal, Public Defender's Office, and a County Prosecutor's Office.
Jeff grew up south of Ann Arbor and has been a resident of Jackson County since 2005, where he lives on his wife’s family farm that has been in her family since 1844. Jeff enjoys spending time with his family and over the years giving back and serving his community. In 2020, Jeff was recognized by his peers for his community and pro bono service when he received the Pro Bono Award from the Ingham County Bar Association. Jeff volunteered through the IRS VITA tax preparation program in the City of Jackson and Brooklyn, preparing and filing tax returns for low income individuals in years’ past. He has also been a member of the State Bar of Michigan Character & Fitness Committee since 2016.
