Attorney Brelinski Appointed New Jackson County Public Administrator
We are thrilled to announce that Curtis, Curtis & Brelinski, P.C. partner, Brad A. Brelinski, has been appointed as the new Jackson County Public Administrator by Michigan Attorney General Dana Nessel.
Mr. Brelinski’s appointment comes in recognition of his continuing commitment to the Jackson County community. As County Public Administrator, Mr. Brelinski, in addition to maintaining his full-time law practice, will be responsible for managing intestate decedent estates where there are no known heirs, including the determination, collection, liquidation, and distribution of assets.
Attorney General Dana Nessel praised Mr. Brelinski’s qualifications, stating:
“Mr. Brelinski’s deep involvement in the Jackson County community and his expertise in estate planning make him a great fit to serve as public administrator. I’m grateful for his ongoing service and dedication to the people of Jackson County.”
State Public Administrator Randi M. Merchant also welcomed Mr. Brelinski to the team:
“County public administrators serve in a position of trust in Michigan’s Probate Court system and perform vital work on behalf of their respective communities. The Department is fortunate to have a talented and passionate pool of attorneys that serve in this role across the State, and I am pleased to welcome County Public Administrator Brelinski as the newest member of that team.”
