Mary Jo Skojec

Mary Jo Skojec joined our firm in December 2024 after 28.5 years at another local firm.

She has joined the firm as a legal assistant to attorney Brad A. Brelinski.

Mary Jo was born and raised in Jackson, Michigan, and grew up working in a family-owned business, Cavender Nursery & Floral Boutique in Jackson, gaining extensive business and bookkeeping skills.

A magna cum laude graduate of Lumen Christi High School, she attended Jackson Community College for an associate’s degree in the executive secretarial program.

She is a longtime member of the local Chapter of NALS (National Association for Legal Support Professionals), where she previously served on the board.

Mary Jo continues to reside in Jackson with her son and pets, and in her leisure time, she enjoys bowling, movies, music, reading, puzzles, fishing, theatre, outdoors, and swimming.
